Rejuvinatin’ June

Well, now that Moustache May is all done, I need something to keep me busy for June. And not just June, but also July, August, September, October, and all the way back around again. That’s why I’m starting The Monthly Challenge.
I have a few ideas up my sleeve for what to do, but the basic plan is to do a certain activity for a certain month, in hopes that (if it is a positive thing) it will help me to keep up that activity in the future. So for June, I’m going to try to get back into shape. Fortunately, June started on a Sunday, which of course is the day of rest, but every other day is a workout day. I’ll need to set milestones - I think a ~5 mile run would be a difficult, but attainable goal for this Saturday. Then I will definitely need a day of rest.
I’m not sure what the next week would be like, but I think at the end of the month, I’ll try to run a half-marathon. Is that too ridiculous? Training for a half-marathon in one month? Actually, it doesn’t look like there are any half-marathons coming up…maybe a 10k towards the end of the month? I’ll have to do some researching soon…
